Start in
Ross on Lagunitas Road. Roadside parking is available.
Begin riding up Lagunitas Road. Within a mile you will enter the
Natalie Coffin Greene Park and soon reach a parking area (almost
always full). Mileage for this loop begins here. Cross bridge and
head uphill on the main fire road.
1.0 miles stay right on Shaver Grade
2.2 miles stay on Shaver Grade at Five Corners
2.8 miles left on paved Sky Oaks Road
4.1 miles enter parking lot for Lake Lagunitas. Head up road at far
left end of parking area.
4.3 miles right across dam. Circle Lake Lagunitas in counter-clockwise
direction. Cross three bridges.
5.5 miles right onto Lakeview Fire Road
6.1 miles left on Eldridge Grade. Control speed on fast downhill with
blind, off-camber turns.
8.3 miles right on Shaver Grade.
9.3 miles Finish

Start at the village in Mill Valley. Ride up West Blithedale Avenue.
1.3 miles right onto fire road
1.4 miles sharp right uphill
2.1 miles make two quick lefts heading steeply uphill on Blithedale
Ridge Fire Road
3.0 miles stay left, then right towards Mount Tam
3.7 miles sharp left on Eldridge Grade. Stay right at 4.4, left at 5.0,
right at 5.4 and left at 5.7 miles
6.3 miles right at pavement. Quick left on Old Railroad Grade. Long
downhill with great views. Make sharp left around West Point Inn at 7.8
miles
9.8 miles stay right. Hoo-Koo-E-Koo heads left.
10.1 miles right Gravity Car Trail
11.4 miles left on Edgewood Road at Mountain Home
11.8 miles left on unsigned Tender Foot Trail
13.2 miles right on Cascade Drive. Stay left on Throckmorton back to
town.
14.6 miles Finish
