Directions to trailhead(s):
Park HQ for Crystal Cove/Moro Canyon rides is located 2.5 miles northwest of Laguna Beach just off (north) of Route 1. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park main access is from Laguna Canyon Road just south of El Toro Road. Additional trailheads can be accessed from Poplar and Dartmoor Rds. in Laguna Beach.
Park HQ for Aliso & Wood Canyons is located off Alicia Parkway in Laguna Niguel, 4 miles south of I-5. Additional access at "top-of-the-world" at end of Alta Laguna Blvd. in Laguna Beach.

Featured Route 1

Aerobic: Intermediate
Technical: Intermediate

Start at Park HQ heading back towards the ocean and turn left onto a  fire road. In .4 miles you reach the base of El Moro Canyon Road. Go left. Almost immediately head right on a single-track trail (BFI) and climb to El Moro  Ridge.

0.8 miles left on El Moro Ridge Road
2.4 miles stay right
4.2 miles left on Missing Link Trail. Trail starts as single-track before joining a fire road briefly (stay right) before returning to single-track
5.2 miles left on Deer Canyon Road
5.6 miles stay right. Trail turns to single-track just past Deer Canyon campground. Trail rolls and then climbs steeply to No Name Ridge.
6.6 miles left on No Name Ridge Road
7.4 miles left on Mach One Road
8.0 miles right on El Moro Canyon Road. Return to Park HQ.
9.4 miles Finish
Note: For a more technical ride, stay left on Redtail Ridge Trail at 5.6 miles and descend Redtail/Rattlesnake Trails to Mach One

Aerobic: Intermediate
Technical: Intermediate/Advanced

Begin at Aliso & Wood Canyon Park HQ. Head up the Aliso Creek Trail which parallels a paved road heading south from the park HQ.
1.5 miles right on Wood Canyon Trail. Stay on Wood Canyon past several turn-offs.

4.6 miles left on Cholla Trail
5.0 miles left on West Ridge Trail
5.7 miles left on Rock-It Trail
6.9 miles right on Coyote Run Trail
7.6 miles left on Mathis Trail and quick right on Wood Canyon Trail
8.6 miles left on Aliso Creek Trail back to Park HQ
10.1 miles Finish
